Our Professional Staff keenly understands young children; they know how to guide them toward becoming healthy human beings. At present, The Nurtury employs more than 13 teachers degreed in an Early Childhood-related field. In addition, all teachers and assistants participate in a minimum of 15 hours of professional development each year.
Longevity/Reputation - The Nurtury is in its 32nd year. Staffed with a faculty of seasoned early childhood education professionals, the longevity of our staff members is a true testament to the success of our nurturing philosophy, which nourishes the continuity of our program for enrolled families and children. The Nurtury's tradition of high-quality standards attracts and retains some of the areas most qualified teachers - most have been employed with us for more than 10 years.
Our Founder - Founded in 1977, The Nurtury was established by Rosemary Cooksey who wanted to bring a leading-edge child development school to Medina.
Safety/Health - Your family will have
your own "Color Code" assuring you that only persons you authorize may
pick up your child...most classrooms have one-way windows...All new
employees must (1) have a criminal record background check; (2) attend
six Nurtury training sessions every year; and (3) take first aid and
communicable disease prevention classes. Our building is
professionally cleaned every evening.
